You will contribute to all phases of software development from requirement gathering through architect/design, implementation, UT/Functional testing and maintaining multiple software components. You will also contribute to the development of aggressive project goals and schedules, execute projects across a highly distributed engineering team, and work with various cross-functional groups such as Architect, other development teams, QA/Validation, System Test, Product Management, Product Documentation, and Customer teams.

  • Contribute to all phases of software development from requirement gathering through architect/design, implementation, UT/Functional testing and maintaining multiple software components
  • Contribute to the development of aggressive project goals and schedules
  • Execute projects across a highly distributed engineering team
  • Work with various cross-functional groups such as Architect, other development teams, QA/Validation, System Test, Product Management, Product Documentation, Customer teams
  • Bachelor's in computer science/ECE with 3-5+ years of experience or Masters in CS/ECE with 2-3+ years of experience
  • Experience in programming languages such as C/C++/Python
  • Technical depth in L1, L2 and L3 Ethernet switching and routing protocols
  • Hands on experience on Linux, system level software, switch/router embedded system software development
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to a wide range of audiences spanning executives to junior engineers
  • Working experience in L1 Link layer: MAC, PHY, SERDES
  • Working experience in L2 switching/forwarding areas such as LAG, VLAN, xSTP, LLDP, Link OAM, ARP, VxLAN, DC fabric switching, etc.
  • Working experience in L3 unicast/multicast routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, IGMP, BGP, ISIS, etc.
  • Working experience in ACL, QoS, Policers, TCAM, etc.
