About the position

The Starbucks Barista role at Target is designed to provide an exceptional guest experience by delivering quality handcrafted beverages and food. This position is part of the Food & Beverage team, which ensures that products are fresh, in stock, and accurately priced. Baristas are responsible for maintaining food safety standards, executing food and beverage processes, and engaging with guests to meet their needs. The role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and a guest-first culture, making it a dynamic and rewarding position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by connecting with guests and prioritizing their needs.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of Food and Beverage Standards and Starbucks brand standards.
• Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, and inventory management.
• Maintain an inviting dining area for guests and support the Starbucks Drive Up process.
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards.
• Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items as outlined in best practices.
• Complete all required Starbucks trainings related to quality control.
• Work in a safe manner and comply with all safety policies and best practices.

Requirements

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.
