About the position

The Stocking Team Trainer at Walmart is responsible for overseeing the stocking associates, ensuring efficient unloading of trucks and stocking of new freight. This role requires physical strength and the ability to operate heavy machinery, as stocking associates spend most of their time in the backroom handling heavy objects and maintaining inventory flow.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise stocking associates in unloading trucks and stocking new freight.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures in the backroom.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback to team members.
• Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds.
• Experience in a stocking or warehouse environment preferred.
• Familiarity with operating heavy machinery, such as forklifts.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a supervisory or training role.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
