About the position

The Student Worker for TRIO Programs at Southcentral KY Community & Technical College is responsible for supporting various departmental functions, including student outreach, computer lab assistance, general office duties, and data entry. This role is designed for students who are enrolled in college and provides an opportunity to gain practical work experience while maintaining their academic commitments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with student outreach initiatives
• Support computer lab operations
• Perform general office duties
• Conduct data entry tasks

Requirements

• Declare a program of study
• Be enrolled in at least 6 hours for the fall and spring semesters
• Maintain a 2.0 GPA
• Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and Maximum Time Frame (MTF) requirements each semester
• Have a completed FAFSA on file
• Pass state and national pre-employment background checks
