The Substance Use Disorder Counselor in the SVDP DAY HAB Program is responsible for providing counseling, support, and guidance to individuals undergoing withdrawal from substances in an inpatient setting, as well as during the early stages of their recovery via outpatient follow up visits. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating counseling sessions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals' recovery and stabilization. The Substance Use Disorder Counselor plays a crucial role in promoting a safe and therapeutic environment and empowering individuals to overcome their addiction.
