About the position

The Materials Control Assistant participates in a variety of material control duties including receiving, verifying, storing, issuing, shipping of supplies/materials, mail movement and distribution of material to point of use locations. This position also processes incoming and outgoing mail and may make deliveries as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving supplies and materials
  • Verifying the accuracy of received materials
  • Storing materials in designated locations
  • Issuing materials to various departments
  • Shipping supplies and materials as required
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail
