About the position

Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs moderately complex software applications for enhancements and new products. Performs coding, configuration, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Product Manager to execute the defined product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Refines and manages the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Writes clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria, ensuring backlog items are well-groomed and ready for development.
  • Acts as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and shared understanding.
  • Facilitates Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Monitors sprint progress, tracks key performance metrics, and communicates updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensures adherence to Agile best practices to drive team efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Advocates for customer needs by integrating feedback into product development and prioritization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing Agile metrics such as velocity, cycle time, and burndown charts to assess team performance.
  • 1+ years of experience in wholesale distribution or supply chain management.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Product Owner (CSPO), or equivalent certification.
  • Experience collaborating with UX teams or knowledge of user-centered design principles.
  • Understanding of Snowflake Architecture.
  • Familiarity with concepts like virtual warehouses, Snowpipe, data sharing, and external tables.
  • Comfort with dimensional models, normalization, denormalization, and data pipelines.
  • Experience working with tools like Tableau or Power BI integrated with Snowflake.

Nice-to-haves

  • SQL Proficiency - Ability to query datasets and validate features independently.
  • Familiarity with DataOps & CI/CD Pipelines, especially if Snowflake is part of a larger automated stack.
  • Experience with Data Products or APIs exposing data as a service internally or externally.
