About the position
As our Equipment Trainer, you’ll be the go-to expert responsible for training and testing individuals in the precise operation of Power Industrial Trucks (PIT) at our facility. This includes mastering Crown equipment such as stock pickers, sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and walkie-rider pallet jacks. With your current certification, you’re exactly who we need to ensure our team operates smoothly and safely.
Responsibilities
- Training individuals in the operation of Power Industrial Trucks (PIT)
- Testing individuals on their operation skills
- Restocking building supplies
- Using a cardboard baler
- Assisting technicians and performing general labor
- Moving and assembling furniture and equipment
- Performing light carpentry
- Basic plumbing tasks
- Running errands to obtain various parts and supplies.
Requirements
- Current forklift, stock-picker, ride-on pallet jack and other powered equipment experience with a training certification
- Ability to work at heights on ladders and lifts
- General electro-mechanical abilities
- Ability to lift 75lbs
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Familiarity with MS Office and general computer skills.
