About the position
The position involves assisting in the management of highway and bridge maintenance programs and contracts. The role includes performing daily inspections on contracted maintenance work on State roads, right of ways, and bridges to ensure compliance with standards. Additionally, the position requires investigating damage claims and making recommendations for approval or denial of those claims. The individual will prepare diaries and keep daily records of maintenance contracted work performed on State roads, right of ways, and bridges. The role also involves gathering quantities for the solicitation of maintenance contracts on State roads, right of ways, and bridges, and performing other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the management of highway and bridge maintenance programs and contracts.
- Performs daily inspections on contracted maintenance work on State roads, right of ways, and bridges to ensure compliance.

Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Science and Management; or an approved acceptable equivalence.
- A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required.
