About the position

At TravelBank (a U.S. Bancorp company) you will have the opportunity to work in the travel and fintech industries serving some of the fastest growing companies in the world. As a member of the Marketing team, you will be a driving force in the culture of our team as well as having an immediate impact on the product we deliver to our customers. The product marketing manager will oversee taking the marketing of our products to the next level. Understanding value proposition, product market fit, use cases, industry trends, and elevating our product specific marketing efforts. To be successful as our next product marketing managers, you will need to have excellent communication skills, understanding of marketing frameworks, and the ability to drive results cross-functionally. The ideal candidate will be able to tell the story of our products to the market.

Responsibilities

  • Building out our product marketing function.
  • Identifying values and key features of our products and communicating with the market and current customers.
  • Bridging the gap between marketing, product, and sales.
  • Working with the marketing team to build materials that highlight product features and benefits.
  • Closely aligning with the product team to ensure our marketing activities.
  • Closely aligning with the customer success team to drive satisfaction, renewals, and upgrades.
  • Identifying key features in products that will drive value to the customers.
  • Building out our community of passionate users.
  • Researching and analyzing trends in the industry, users, and competitors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Six or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results.

Nice-to-haves

  • Four to six years experience in marketing, preferable in product marketing.
  • Software or B2B technology industry experience preferred, as well as broad marketing process exposure in a company driven by analytics.
  • Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel required. Experience with Salesforce.com CRM (or similar) a plus.
  • A high degree of flexibility, extremely organized, and detail oriented. Ability to multi-task, prioritize a variety of tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Able to partner with senior leaders across the organization to assess needs and define business questions.
  • Flexible team worker, positive motivated attitude, strong organizational skills.
  • Outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills - ability to communicate information quickly and succinctly; ability to build relationships with different roles and departments.
  • Organizational and project management skills are a must-have, (PMP certification a plus); must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and capable of making sound and timely decisions.
