About the position

The Travel RN CVOR position in Ann Arbor, MI, is a part-time role focused on providing nursing care in the Pediatric Critical Care Float area. The role requires a valid Michigan RN license and experience in pediatric nursing, particularly in CVOR and PICU settings. The position involves working day shifts in a 3x12-hour schedule, emphasizing family-centered care and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Pediatric Critical Care Float area, including PCTU, PICU, and MH4 Peds.
• Float between different pediatric critical care units as needed.
• Ensure exemplary nursing care that embraces family-centered care principles.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
• Maintain a valid Michigan RN license and adhere to facility guidelines regarding vaccinations.

Requirements

• Valid RN License in Michigan.
• Strong experience in CVOR and PICU nursing.
• Two supervisory references from a Nurse Manager or higher.
• Recent pediatric experience, preferably in a Level 1 facility.
• Ability to pass an EKG test.

Nice-to-haves

• Recent travel nursing experience.
• Experience with state-of-the-art technology such as ECMO and High-Frequency Ventilation.
