Join Us as a Treasury Analyst! Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for global treasury operations? At ORBCOMM, we're looking for a skilled Treasury Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our global banking and cash management processes. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborate across teams, and help drive excellence in our treasury function. This role will be based in either our Rochelle Park, NJ or Sterling, VA office. With a flexible hybrid work schedule, you can enjoy the best of both worlds-engaging in-person collaboration in either our Sterling, VA or Rochelle Park, NJ offices, while also benefiting from the autonomy and comfort of remote work. This role will be working 3+ days in-office per week and reports to the SVP, Treasurer.
Responsibilities
- Perform Treasury functions in accordance with ORBCOMM standard policies and procedures.
- Access our online worldwide banking platform systems to capture daily cash activities.
- Act as one of our online Banking System Administrators.
- Lead any bank account opening request from start to finish, domestically or internationally, sometimes in highly regulated countries.
- Responsible for setting up online banking entitlements for all users.
- Execute all domestic and/or international disbursements that are required to be executed via wire/ACH transfers using our Treasury System Banking Platform.
- Provide, daily, all banking support information to various levels of the accounting department, including but not limited to, our A/P Department.
- Process transactions into our Brazilian JPM Chase Banking Platform as well as handling payments through the Malaysian government portal.
- Navigate through the credit Card Merchant Treasury platform such as AMEX, Paymentech and Fiserv.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, for Domestic and International accounts.
- Maintain all supporting documentation necessary to comply with banking rules and regulations as well as being able to support our external auditors.
- Assist SVP Treasurer with all other domestic and international banking needs.
- Perform ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of related treasury experience using Online Banking Platform.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration.
- Basic Accounting Knowledge required.
- MS Office software knowledge (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong analytic, problem solving and reporting skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communications skills.
- High organization skills and detail oriented.
- Experience with multiple currencies is needed.
- Exposure to international banking is a plus.
- Knowledge of JPM Chase Access Online Banking systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of JDE accounting system is a plus.
- Team player and able to collaborate with other team members.
