U.S. UI/UX Designer, Zoic Labs

About the position

As Zoic Labs' UI/UX Designer you will be responsible for the visual development and design of applications across platforms such as web, desktop, AR, VR and app design. This is a highly creative position driving the creation of initial concepts and designs for future user interfaces and graphics. You will also work with the engineering department and client/user to find the perfect combination between functional user experience and design. This is a project-based position with an expected start date of July 2025.

Responsibilities

• Design and champion engaging user interfaces for a variety of clients, ensuring our users have the best possible experience on our platforms
• Work in collaboration with leadership, product managers, engineers, and other designers
• Strong sensibility in taking conceptual wireframes to a high fidelity, intuitive final comp
• Develop high quality UI/UX designs, prototypes and design assets that effectively communicate design concepts
• Conduct user research and usability testing to identify and address pain points and improve experience for users

Requirements

• Be passionate and knowledgeable about UI and UX design and able to articulate this
• Solid understanding of visual hierarchy, layout design, and usability design
• Experience with Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Experience with Zeplin and Google Slides
• Updated portfolio that demonstrates UI/UX skills in digital products
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team
• Knowledge of information architecture
• Experience using Jira
