UI/UX Designer

About the position

The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for the design and evolution of Xponential Fitness' enterprise mobile and web applications, leading user experience and interface design initiatives across our portfolio of brands. This role will be responsible for building and owning the end-to-end design function-from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and design system development. Your work will have a high influence and high impact on driving innovation across Xponential's digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging user interfaces across web and mobile platforms.
• Translate product requirements and user insights into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
• Develop and maintain scalable design systems and reusable components in Figma, ensuring consistency across brands and platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure seamless implementation of designs using Storybook as a shared source of truth for UI components.
• Conduct user research through interviews, usability testing, and behavioral analytics to inform design decisions.
• Synthesize research findings into actionable insights that improve user flows, reduce friction, and enhance engagement.
• Validate design concepts through iterative testing and feedback loops with real users and internal stakeholders.
• Build and evolve a shared design system in Figma, and partner with engineering teams to maintain parity in Storybook.
• Define and document design tokens, interaction patterns, and accessibility standards to support scalable development.
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and responsive behavior across devices.
• Create interactive prototypes to communicate design intent, user flows, and micro-interactions.
• Design animations and transitions that enhance usability and create delightful user experiences.
• Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and are optimized for performance and responsiveness.
• Uphold and evolve brand identity through thoughtful visual design and storytelling across digital touchpoints.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure cohesive experiences across campaigns, landing pages, and product surfaces.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on web applications.
• Proficiency in ReactJS, Ruby on Rails, and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Experience with caching layers (Redis, Memcache) and job scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as New Relic, Scout, or Sumo Logic.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and containerized environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
