UI/UX Engineer and Designer

About the position

We're not rock stars or ninjas, just regular coders trying to make it easier for infusion providers and patients. Working in Ruby/Rails with AngularJS/React front-end, we help keep track of patient appointments, drug inventory, and integrate with systems to send appointment reminders and bill insurance claims. We're looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented UI/UX Engineer to join our team. This is a new position within our growing company, so you have the potential to make an impact. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy code utilizing React.js
• Work with Product and Engineering teams to design UI/UX stories
• Evaluate the overall application to ensure uniformity in design, branding, etc. to keep the user experience consistent
• Update the front-end user interface to maintain a clean and modern design for our clients
• Be an extension of the Product team by translating mockups and wireframes to an efficient, real front-end layout and user interface
• Establish tools, monitoring, and best practices for our development team to keep all new front-end deploys consistent with our design requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years in UI/UX design and implementation with React, required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Nice-to-haves

• Degree from an accredited institution with a focus on design, preferred
• Have an awesome portfolio to show off
• Familiarity or working experience with AngularJS or webpack
