About the position

At Rincon Research Corporation, our primary business is innovating, developing, and fielding digital signal processing (DSP) products and services for the United States Defense and Intelligence Communities in support of national security. Rincon Research Corporation (RRC), an employee owned company, is seeking a talented, tenacious, results-driven individual to work in a multi-disciplinary R&D environment with similarly motivated electrical engineers, mathematicians, computer scientists, and analysts who are collectively responsible for creating custom digital signal processing solutions and leveraging them to make an operational mission impact. Responsibilities

  • Implement designs into interfaces through coding and programming
  • Proficiency in coding languages for creating user interfaces
  • Skill in implementing and interacting with teammates through development process to deliver products that meet requirements with functional design
  • Advise teammates regarding development timelines and solutions to any derived limitations
  • Know and understand programming languages; interface with developers to understand their design so concepts can be converted to code
  • Create visually appealing and functional interfaces that excite users

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Demonstrated proficiency in C++
  • Past successful experience in a UI/UX or related role
  • In-depth knowledge of user interface models, application design, and website functionality
  • Ability to assimilate into important development efforts and effectively collaborate to meet design goals
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance
  • US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

Nice-to-haves

  • Current Top Secret Clearance
  • Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Five or more years in Department of Defense development efforts
