Kaizen Analytix LLC, an analytics services company, is seeking a qualified technical developer Contractor with experience in UI/UX Engineering. This role requires an estimated 35-40 hours/week commitment for approximately 7 weeks.
Responsibilities
Execute tasks related to UI/UX Engineering.
Understand the business context of analytics solutions, including current state, problem statement, goals/objectives, business value, obstacles, and impacted client constituents.
Work with various teams (products, services/consulting, sales and marketing, client teams) to translate business problems/needs into user interface (UI) requirements.
Design UIs to meet client/customer needs and prototype UI designs in the form of clickable wireframes.
Provide client-specific thought leadership and guide clients through workshops/interviews/exercises to yield UI designs that address their needs.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to tell data-driven stories through visualizations, dashboards, and UI screens.
Develop an understanding of Data Science principles and core concepts to communicate findings effectively.
Present analysis, models, results, and insights at the appropriate level of detail to client teams and Kaizen teams.
Facilitate communication between analytics solution users, core delivery team members, and development personnel.
Provide internal Kaizen teams with thought leadership for designing best-in-class sales and marketing materials/graphics, including the company website.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of professional UX design experience, including prototyping, wire framing, front-end development, research, and/or analytical experience.
Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology.
Experience designing for WCAG AA (accessibility) compliance is a plus.
Experience designing and utilizing UI style guides for High Fidelity Prototypes is a plus.
Bachelor's degree required.
Nice-to-haves
Experience in business intelligence, business analytics, management consulting, or related field is preferred.
