About the position

On the OneView team at DaVita, we design apps (desktop, web, mobile) for physicians to help them manage, treat, and improve the lives and the care of their patients. Healthcare IT is notorious for lagging behind consumer products in design, user experience, and customer satisfaction. Our goal is to change the status quo by creating a suite of physician-focused products that delight users, enable clinicians to take better care of their patients, and improve clinical outcomes. We are looking for a UX candidate that is up for a challenge. Healthcare is rife with complexities and the learning curve is steep. Responsibilities

  • Deliver UX/UI designs that are user-friendly and adhere to UI brand guidelines.
  • Utilize discovery and analysis, user research, information architecture, and interaction skills.
  • Create impactful change through functional, intuitive, and efficient user experiences.
  • Work with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent projects, executing against deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other UX Design team members, Product Managers, and Technical Architects.
  • Communicate project statuses to manager and scrum team members.
  • Translate research findings into fully functional technical designs.
  • Deliver design specifications needed to ensure high quality development.
  • Work through implementation with development teammates.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of UX/UI design experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Eager problem solver that can pinpoint inefficiencies in complex workflows.
  • Ability to collaborate with others and be open to feedback.
  • Proficient in Figma application and iOS native design.
  • Experience in sketching, creating flows, wire framing, sitemaps, and clickable prototypes.
  • Ability to clearly communicate design processes and ideas to stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare.
  • Familiarity with Mixpanel or Pendo analytic software.
  • Understanding of AI tools and evolving tech that can enhance design.
