UX/UI Designer

About the position

The UX/UI Designer with professional experience will support a short-term coverage leave for 2 - 3 months, working 30 - 40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Manage an application used for internal facing communications.
• Handle complex user interface navigation tool across mobile and website platforms.
• Quickly assess project needs and work well independently with minimal coaching.

Requirements

• 4 - 5 yrs design experience in agency or in-house with 3 yrs minimum of UX/UI focused.
• Portfolios that show UX mid-journey stage through development.
• Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; and Figma.
• Strong visual communication skills, including typography, color theory, and design.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop & execute design concepts.
• Strong communication, presentation, and time management skills.
• Ability to present design concepts to cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Design system library build experience is preferred.
• Previous design experience with similar CPG brand industry.
• Portfolios or samples showing data visualization, libraries, and dashboard designs.
• Experience with development teams and familiarity with nuances and file setup.
