The candidate will work on projects from inception to launch and/or enhance existing software, performing tasks such as conceptual design, requirement gathering, interface documentation, and specification. Responsibilities also include developing UI mockups and prototypes using wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, etc., executing all visual design stages from concept to development team hand-off, and assisting in the creation and upkeep of design standards. The role drives product design across the organization, platforms, and products, collaborating with development teams to negotiate designs and technical difficulties. A deep understanding of user-centered design principles is essential, along with the ability to create designs that meet user needs and expectations. The candidate will develop interactive and intuitive user interfaces that guide users through their tasks and workflows, understanding interactions, animations, and transitions to enhance the user experience. Additionally, the role involves creating interactive prototypes that showcase the flow and functionality of the design and advocating for accessibility compliance in all public-facing design initiatives and projects, aligning with industry standards and best practices.
