About the position

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Open and close vehicle doors for guests, assisting in loading and unloading of baggage, boxes, etc.
  • Issue vehicle claim check to guests and safely park and secure guest vehicles.
  • Label vehicles and keys, placing them in designated locations.
  • Safely return vehicles and keys to guests upon receipt of a valid claim check.
  • Answer guest inquiries about hotel services and in-house events.
  • Provide information about local features such as shopping, dining, nightlife, and recreational destinations.
  • Notify management of any vehicle requests from guests with possible excessive alcohol consumption or impairment.
  • Report all emergencies, injuries, missing articles, damage, mechanical problems, and safety hazards to management.
  • Maintain and clean the designated station, standing ready to assist guests.
  • Keep the designated parking area neat and orderly.
  • Be on time and at work when scheduled, in proper uniform.
  • Report all tips in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations.
  • Attend department meetings as scheduled.
  • Maintain a consistent professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests and associates.
  • Report incidents of guest dissatisfaction or unusual matters to management.
  • Comply with policies and procedures, practicing safe work habits.
  • Write shift reports including incidents of theft, accidents, or injuries when assigned.
  • Check with management before leaving the work area for any reason.
  • Perform any other tasks or duties as requested by management.
