WE OFFER: *Sign On Bonus for Certified Technicians Based on Experience* Paid Holiday and Vacation Time Thrift / Savings Plan : 401K Employee Healthcare Benefits Short and Long Term Disability Programs Dental Insurance Programs Financial Planning options Employee Discounts Unemployment Insurance Workers' Compensation Overtime at Special Events Comprehensive training RESPONSIBILITIES: Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair Inspect vehicles according to the state's requirements for emissions and safety Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations and headlight/taillight installations Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 1 year of experience as an Virginia State Inspector Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance Fast learner Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service skills Team player Computer literate Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Valid State Inspector's license Valid driver's license High School Diploma “We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
