About the position
The Barback will support the Food & Beverage department to ensure the efficient operation of all beverage stations and concessions and maintaining a high level of service in a dynamic and bustling environment throughout the venue during a show or event.
Responsibilities
- Manage the inventory and restock bars throughout with alcohol, mixers, garnishes, ice, and other supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Supervisor to ensure timely replenishment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout walk ins, back of house areas and front of house areas.
- Ensure all bar equipment is in good working condition.
- Report any equipment malfunctions of issues to Warehouse Supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of equipment and product.
- Follow responsible alcohol service practices and comply with local health regulations.
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older.
- Reliable and punctual.
- An ongoing desire to learn and improve.
- Able to use a Dollie/hand truck.
- Good communication skills.
- Must have flexibility to work an event-driven schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to interact and get along with many different types of people.
- Ability to work independently as well as with others to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully within ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
