About the position
The position is for an experienced pawn shop manager who will oversee operations at a luxury pawnbroker location. The role requires strong people skills and expertise in jewelry, watches, and bags, particularly in gold and diamond authentication. The manager will also be involved in sales and customer interactions, ensuring a high level of service and expertise in luxury items.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the pawn shop
- Authenticate and evaluate jewelry, watches, and bags
- Provide excellent customer service and support
- Oversee sales transactions and inventory management
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in pawn brokering
- Develop strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience as a pawn shop manager or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of jewelry, watches, and luxury bags
- Excellent people skills and customer service orientation
- Experience with gold and diamond authentication
- Familiarity with eBay sales is a significant advantage
