About the position

The Warehouse Associate position involves receiving and dispatching merchandise to and from the warehouse, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating warehouse equipment, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Strong listening, learning skills, and the ability to follow instructions are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Receive, offload, inspect, process, and store incoming stock and materials.
• Pick and fill orders from stock.
• Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment.
• Manage, organize, and retrieve stock in the warehouse.
• Inspect products for defects and damages.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Maintain inventory controls and ensure accuracy of inventory records.
• Work in a collaborative environment.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Past warehouse experience required (2 years).
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Willingness to learn.

Nice-to-haves

• Fluent in Chinese (preferred).
• Can drive 26 ft trucks (preferred).
