About the position

The Weekend Manager at Okra African Grill is responsible for overseeing the restaurant's operations during weekend shifts, ensuring a high-quality dining experience for customers. This role involves both front-of-house and back-of-house responsibilities, including serving food, cleaning, and managing team tasks. The position offers opportunities for growth and training in a lively and diverse work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the restaurant on weekends from 11AM to 9PM.
  • Serve quality bowls to customers during shifts.
  • Assist in cleaning the store throughout the day.
  • Collectively manage closing tasks such as sweeping, washing dishes, taking out trash, and storing food properly.
  • Train to lead a team that ensures a quality experience for guests.

Requirements

  • Willingness to work full-time hours (40 hours a week).
  • Ability to work weekends and manage restaurant operations during those shifts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a great personality for customer interaction.
